These are well made pants with some subtle, but well thought out features including: lower accessible front pockets (for wearing a harness), a designated brush pocket, a diagonal entry back pocket, articulated knees, and of course, the built-in "Magic Belt" (aka, elastic waistband). The fabric is butter-smooth, like a brushed cotton, but thin and flexible. Honestly, I don't want to take them off after climbing. My only complaint is the cinches on the lower leg; they do not hold at all. I feel like a stronger clip/toggle or a larger shock cord could have been used for this feature. I'm working around it by tying an overhand knot in the cord when necessary. Overall, great pair of pants.
